Job summary

The Steadings Co-op in Kirkcaldy is seeking a Customer Team Leader to run a busy store, lead a small team, and ensure great service for our local community.

You'll balance tills, stock control, and daily operations while encouraging member engagement and supporting community initiatives. Flexibility and a customer-first mindset are essential for this role.

Job description

Location: The Steadings 93 Bennochy Road, Kirkcaldy, KY2 5RB

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 30 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: A mix of opening shifts, middle shifts, and closing shifts. At least 2 shifts will be closing and at least 1 will be at the weekend. We're happy to discuss your availability further at interview.

Join us as a Customer Team Leader and take the next step toward managing your own store.

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.

You'll keep our shelves stocked and support sales, helping us offer even more choice and exciting new services to our customers. You'll be a familiar face in the community, getting to know your customers and helping us stay connected with local and national charities.
