Job summary

Brightwake Ltd is seeking a full-time Technician to join the Project Test Lab. You will support the Lab Leader, set up tests, run procedures and generate documentation to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Flexibility is essential due to 7-day coverage with days off during the week, and you will work with a small team to develop V&V/testing protocols and qualification files for project needs.

• Collating data and information as necessary to assist the Project Lab leader.
• Writing clear and comprehensive reports as required.
• Generating project documentation including V&V/testing protocols/reports, as necessary.
• Developing and reviewing tests, suitable for project needs.
• Collating data/information and organising all qualification files for the project including test protocols, reports, deviations etc.
• Developing verification, validation and test method qualification.
• Statistical analysis (sampling and proving) of validation results.
• Ensuring any activities within the project test lab are compliant with medical devices and other relevant standards and regulations.
• Working as part of a team to ensure that activities are completed on time, correctly and to provide technical assistant to less experienced colleagues.
• Responsibility for defining calibration requirements and overall suitability of measurement devices used in testing processes according to the relevant standards
• Setting up test equipment and carrying out testing.
• Completing all required paperwork in a clear and accurate manner.

Job description

We are currently looking for a full-time Technician to work withing our Project Test Lab. Providing cover over 7 days as testing requires within a small team you will take days off during the week to ensure you have necessary breaks. Flexibility is essential in this role but requirements are planned in advanced.

Reporting directly to the OEM Projects Coordinator, the successful applicant will assist with the completion of all project work ensuring that all tasks delegated are completed to a high standard and within the timescales given.
