UKCIL in Hexham is seeking two compassionate Support Workers to share 23 hours per week supporting a friendly local client in the community. You’ll help with daily routines, meal prep, personal and domestic care, and encourage participation in social activities to promote independence.
The role requires experience or knowledge in diabetes management and nutrition, medication administration, and understanding the Mental Capacity Act.
We are looking for two compassionate and reliable Support Workers to share 23 hours per week, supporting a friendly and sociable individual in the local community.
The client is happy, chatty and enjoys getting out and about. They love walks and being part of the community, and are keen to try new social groups and activities.
You will support with day-to-day tasks, including organising routines, overseeing medication, and encouraging meaningful activities that promote independence.
