Job summary

GI Group is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to support the GSK site in Hertford. The role involves operating MHE gear, equipment checks, and paperwork in a GMP-compliant environment with 12-hour day/night rotations across 7 days.

The position is temporary and requires adhering to SOPs, completing documentation accurately, and maintaining a clean, audit-ready area. Training and safety compliance are ongoing priorities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

From £16.76 to £21.36 (depending on the shift)

The successful candidate will support the warehouse team. The role will involve the preparation of equipment, bulk manufacturing and operation of machinery meeting the compliance of quality standards.

Rotational 12 hours moving between days & nights across 7 days

Your responsibilities will consist of but not limited to:

• To operate warehouse mechanical handling equipment (MHE) such as Highracker, counterbalance and ride-on pedestrian trucks as appropriate
• To perform all equipment checks to ensure their safe operation at all times
• To ensure the work area is audit ready and compliant at all times with our client's H&S policies and procedures
• Follow all SOPs and act at all times safely and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
• Completion of both electronic and paperwork documentation with accuracy and in a timely manner
• To carry out strict cleaning activities to ensure no cross contamination
• Stay up-to-date with all training and continual learning requirements

All roles are recruited on a temporary basis.
