Job description

The Lions is a Groups Centre for visiting overseas school Groups that is situated a stone's throw away from Hastings Seafront, where we provide accommodation, education and excursions for international students.

We currently seeking a Cook / Chef / Kitchen Assistant to work in a school environment. You will be a friendly person with a calm temperament, who likes interacting with children. Group sizes range from 5-25 pax

Duties and responsibilities:

Preparing ingredients prior to cooking

Prepare and cook dishes from a menu

Maintain the cleanliness of work station & student dining area

Washing up and disinfecting

Contract Type

This position is based on a zero hour contract. Some months will have back to back student group bookings while other periods will have no students and therefore no available shifts. Rota will be shared in advance for groups staying 1 - 4 weeks at a time. Quiet periods during school holidays.
