eTeach UK Limited is seeking a capable, friendly pastoral administrator to join our Student Support Team at Haslemere. The role supports Heads of Year, handles confidential records, and helps with rewards and sanctions reporting.
You will work 34.15 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks), 8:30am–4:00pm with a 40-minute lunch, and liaise with staff, parents and external agencies to organise meetings, appointments and notices.
We are seeking to appoint an efficient, friendly and dynamic member of staff to join our very effective and highly valued Pastoral Team to start as soon as possible.Candidates should ideally have experience of working in an environment with young people, and have excellent communication skills and a good level of education. The ability to build good relationships with staff and students is essential. A high level of confidentiality will also apply to this role.
The role will involve working closely with the Heads of Year and Assistant Heads of Year who work to support students with their academic progress, their behaviour for learning, and their pastoral support and wellbeing. This is a varied role and will involve providing administrative support to the pastoral team, such as keeping student records up to date, logging rewards and sanctions, producing reports on rewards and sanctions for the team as required, along with writing letters and producing end of term celebration certificates for students. There will also be some liaison with other staff, parents and sometimes external agencies in order to make appointments for meetings etc.
We are very much looking someone who will be willing to be an integral member of this busy team. We require someone who will be available for 34.15 hours over 5 days per week, term time only (39 weeks, 8:30am to 4:00pm with a 40-minute unpaid lunch break).
