Job summary

Medecho LTD is recruiting Locum Senior House Officer (SHO) doctors to cover a variety of specialties across NHS hospitals in the UK. Successful candidates must have GMC registration, valid Right to Work in the UK, NHS experience at SHO level or above, and be available to start ASAP.

Duties include assessing and managing patients, participating in ward rounds and clinics, maintaining clinical documentation, and working with consultants and MDTs to deliver safe NHS care.

Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration with licence to practice.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK.
• Previous NHS experience at SHO level or above.
• Up-to-date mandatory training and compliance documents.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to start ASAP.
• Enhanced DBS (preferred).
• ALS certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients within the relevant specialty.
• Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and on-call duties where required.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with NHS standards.
