Job summary

Medecho LTD is recruiting experienced Locum SHO Doctors to cover a range of specialties across NHS hospitals in the UK. Candidates must have GMC registration, a licence to practice, and NHS SHO-level experience; Right to Work in the UK and availability to start ASAP are essential.

Opportunities across multiple NHS Trusts with flexible patterns and ongoing placements. Competitive hourly rates (£40–£45) and dedicated recruitment and compliance support are provided to successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK.
• Previous NHS experience at SHO level or above.
• Up-to-date mandatory training and compliance documents.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Enhanced DBS (preferred).
• ALS certification (desirable, depending on specialty).

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients within the relevant specialty.
• Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and on-call duties where required.

• Work collaboratively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with NHS standards.
