Job summary

Flow Recruitment Ltd is assisting a client in Greater Manchester to recruit a Nursery Room Leader. The role involves managing a dedicated room, ensuring a happy, safe, and stimulating environment for children, and leading staff training and development.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) and will be responsible for day-to-day operations and ensuring developmental activities meet children’s needs.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification is required.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Sound understanding of a child’s developmental requirements is expected.
• Ability to train and develop staff and impart knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of an allocated nursery area/room.
• Provide a range of stimulating learning experiences to meet children’s development needs.
• Ensure children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
• Lead and support staff training and development.

Our client is looking to recruit a Nursery Room Leader.

Nursery Room Leader

A qualified nursery room leader responsible for the day to day running of an allocated area or room within the nursery. You must be NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent. An important role in training and developing staff by imparting knowledge and skills. You will be required to ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment. You will also need to have a sound understanding of a child’s developmental requirements and to provide a range of stimulating learning experiences designed to meet children’s all round development. Successful Nursery Room Leader will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
