Job summary

Flow Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Room Leader for a part-time role (30 hours per week) across their client nurseries in the West of England. The role requires NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and involves leading a room, training staff, and delivering stimulating learning experiences for children.

You will ensure a happy, safe environment, understand child development needs, and undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (Nursery) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of child development and engaging learning experiences.
• DBS check required (enhanced).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of an allocated nursery room.
• Train and develop staff in best practice.
• Create a happy, safe and stimulating environment for children.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and regulatory requirements.

Our client is looking to recruit a Nursery Room Leader.

Nursery Room Leader

A qualified nursery room leader responsible for the day to day running of an allocated area or room within the nursery. You must be NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent. An important role in training and developing staff by imparting knowledge and skills. You will be required to ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment. You will also need to have a sound understanding of a child’s developmental requirements and to provide a range of stimulating learning experiences designed to meet children’s all round development. Successful Nursery Room Leader will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
