Workforce Recruitment Group Limited is recruiting a Semi-Skilled Butcher for a permanent, full-time role in South Lincolnshire. Relocation support is available. The position offers 37.5 hours per week with 06:00-16:30 shifts, four days per week with one weekday off.

Overtime may be available but not guaranteed. No prior professional butchery experience is essential, training is provided on site. You will trim beef primals and cuts to customer specifications in a busy meat processing environment,

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity within an established food manufacturing business. Full relocation support is available to help make your move as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Location: South Lincolnshire

Salary: £14.39 per hour

Role Type: Permanent - Right to Work in the UK required

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: 06:00-16:30, four days between Monday and Friday, with one weekday off

About the Role

We are currently recruiting Semi-Skilled Butchers to join a well-established food manufacturing business in South Lincolnshire. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with some knife skills who are looking to develop their experience in a professional meat processing environment.

As a Semi-Skilled Butcher, you will trim beef primals, joints and smaller cuts to customer specifications on a busy production line. Training will be provided on product specifications, equipment and safe working procedures. Previous professional butchery experience is not essential.

Duties

• Trimming meat and removing fat, gristle and defective material
• Using knives to prepare beef cuts to customer specifications
• Operating handheld trimming equipment and other machinery following training
• Maintaining product quality and minimising waste
• Following food safety, hygiene, cleaning and health & safety procedures
• Supporting colleagues and helping new team members learn trimming tasks
• Maintaining consistent standards in a fast-paced production environment
