Job summary

Pure Staff Ltd is actively recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing roles in Gloucester. You will handle general haulage and multi-drop palletised deliveries using curtain-sider trailers across the region.

Shifts run Monday to Friday starting around 07:00, typically 8–10 hours. Pay is £15.00 per hour days, or £16.81 with holiday pay rolled up; regular weekly pay and direct PAYE with no umbrella компанies are included.

Qualifications

• UK Category C Licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid Driver CPC Card.
• Minimum 2 years HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude.
• Good understanding of driver hours, tachograph regulations and vehicle safety checks.
• Experience with multi-drop or palletised distribution is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• General haulage deliveries to a variety of customer sites across the region.

Job description

Pure Staff's Driving Team are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to support one of our customers based in Gloucester. Immediate starts are available for reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers.

This role involves

general haulage deliveries to a variety of customer sites across the region. Drivers will be responsible for completing

multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods, using a

curtain-sider trailer, with up to

16 deliveries per shift, unless its bulk, which is then only 2-4 drops.

Day shifts are available Monday to Friday, with typical start times from

07:00 and average shift lengths of around

8-10 hours. This is

ongoing, long-term work offering regular and consistent shifts.

Rates for an HGV Class 2 Driver:

Monday to Friday (Days) = £15.00ph (+ holiday accrued) or £16.81ph (with holiday pay rolled up)
