Job summary

Medacs Healthcare in Gateshead is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor (NMC/HCPC registered) to join a hybrid, clinical-reporting role. You’ll perform face-to-face and remote assessments, analyse evidence and write detailed reports.

The role offers structured pay progression, a supportive training program, no evenings or bank holidays, and 25 days leave. You will use your clinical expertise while enjoying a balanced hybrid working pattern.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles
• Confidence in producing high-quality written clinical reports

As a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor at Medacs Healthcare, you'll complete Personal Independence Payment (PIP) functional assessments to understand how health conditions affect everyday life. This is a non-

on clinical role centred on clinical reasoning, analysis and report writing.

The hybrid working model combines home working with time at one of our assessment centres, offering predictable hours, long-

term stability and a healthier work-life balance.
