Job summary

Servicemaster Clean Swansea and South Wales Ltd in Garnant is seeking part-time cleaners to join our team. You will perform cleaning duties at the assigned site on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 7pm, with training provided if needed.

We value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn; prior cleaning experience is welcome but not required. You will report to your Area Supervisor and help keep the building clean and orderly.

Responsibilities

• Damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust and sanitize hard surfaces in the assigned area.
• Set up and manage the stock cupboard; order cleaning supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment to a high standard and report faults.
• Transport waste to designated areas following site policies.
• Carry out any additional duties as directed by the Area Supervisor.
• Secure the building after completing the clean.

We would love for you to come on board with cleaning experience, but if not, please do not worry! Full training can be provided for any candidate who has a willingness to learn.

Job Purpose

To carry out the cleaning duties assigned to you by your Area Supervisor to a high standard and ensure the building is left in a clean and orderly condition

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the commercial building or area you are allocated
• General commercial cleaning duties include damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing hard surfaces
• Setting up the stock cupboard, including ordering stock
• Maintaining cleaning equipment to a high standard
• Transporting waste to the assigned areas
• Perform additional duties as and when required by your Area Supervisor
• Securing a building following the completion of the clean
