Job summary

Acorn Recruitment is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (Cat C) to join a well-established national business based in Fareham. This is a full-time role with an early start and secure opportunities to move to permanent employment.

Starting 6am, Monday to Friday, with competitive pay and benefits including pension contributions and on-site parking. Training and ongoing support from the Acorn Driving Team are provided to ensure safe, professional service to customers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous multi-drop driving experience preferred.
• Reliable, flexible, and customer-focused approach.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport legislation.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Deliver goods accurately and on time.
• Complete delivery paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Follow all road transport legislation and company procedures.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
