Job summary

Cibus People Ltd. is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Analyst in Essex to drive material planning, forecasting and S&OP within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

You will work across Procurement, Operations, Warehouse, Technical, Finance and Commercial teams to ensure timely availability of materials and data-driven decisions. The role is site-based with some weekend coverage and requires strong Excel, SQL and BI tooling skills.

Qualifications

• Experience across supply chain planning, procurement, inventory and data analysis.
• Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Experience with Power Query and ideally Looker or similar BI tools.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an analytical and proactive Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join a fast-paced food manufacturing business based in Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience across supply chain planning, procurement, inventory and data analysis who enjoys using data to solve problems and drive improvements. You’ll take ownership of material planning, forecasting, MRP and S&OP, while working closely with Procurement, Operations, Warehouse, Technical, Finance and Commercial teams to ensure the right materials are available at the right time.

The ideal candidate will have experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, fresh produce or another short-shelf-life environment, with strong knowledge of MRP, forecasting, S&OP and supplier performance. Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills are essential, alongside experience with Power Query and ideally Looker or similar BI tools. You’ll be naturally curious, commercially minded and confident working independently in a busy environment, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations and action.
