Job summary

Premier Services is recruiting a Night Mobile Patrol / Alarm Response Security Officer to join our established team in Egham. You will protect client premises, respond to alarms, and perform patrols and checks to uphold safety across Surrey and Berkshire.

Essential is a valid SIA licence (SG/DS/CP) and a Full UK Manual driving licence (Category B), plus a 5-year checkable work history. You will report via company devices, enjoy overtime opportunities, and use on-site parking at our Egham base.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile patrols or keyholding is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend alarm activations and rapid response incidents at various locations.
• Conduct routine patrols and building checks.
• Inspect premises, report insecurities, and escalate issues.
• Lock/unlock client premises at scheduled times.
• Drive company vehicle (manual, GPS-tracked) safely and responsibly.
• Complete reports using company smart devices.
• Liaise with supervisors and Control Room for smooth operations.
• Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
• Maintain a professional presence to promote safety.

The Role

We are recruiting a Night Mobile Patrol / Alarm Response Security Officer to join our established team. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two shifts are the same. You will play a key part in protecting client premises, responding to alarms, and delivering a high standard of security services.

This role is ideal for proactive individuals who are committed to maintaining safety standards through vigilant patrols and effective incident response.

Key Responsibilities

• Attending alarm activations and rapid response incidents at various locations.
• Conducting routine patrols and building checks.
• Conducting inspections, reporting insecurities, and escalating issues where necessary.
• Locking and unlocking client premises at scheduled times.
• Driving a company vehicle (manual, GPS-tracked) safely and responsibly.
• Completing accurate and timely reports using company smart devices (Android/Apple).
• Liaising with supervisors and the Control Room to ensure smooth operations.
• Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services when required, ensuring proper communication and documentation.
• Maintain a professional presence at all times to promote a safe environment for staff and visitors.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid SIA License (SG / DS / CP).
• Full UK Manual Driving License (Category B).
• 5-year checkable work history.
• Previous security experience, ideally in mobile patrols or keyholding response (preferred but not essential).
• Good knowledge of the local area (Reading, Slough, Staines-upon-Thames) is desirable.
• Comfortable using smartphones/tablets for reporting.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to cover shifts at short notice when required.
• Smart, professional, and customer-focused with strong communication skills.
