We are looking to recruit an interim inspirational and influential leader to join the Medicine Divisional Team as Deputy Divisional Nurse Director (DDND) to cover a six month secondment Providing professional support to a Matron Team of sixteen and working along side the other DDND and Divisional Nurse Director (DND), Divisional Leadership Team, medical and operational teams

The role is for a six month secondment opportunity to provide stability and leadership whilst the current DDND is on secondment.

The Divisional Leadership Team support five business units with services which include specialist medicine, emergency medicine and acute medicine over the two main hospital sites and within community hospitals

Working with the Divisional Nurse Director and in close collaboration with the Divisional Director and Divisional Medical Director the successful applicant will provide clinical leadership and senior operational support within the Division, across the organisation and with external partners

We consider Quality Improvement to be at the heart of ensuring our services are as safe as possible to offer an outstanding patient experience and to retain our staff. The post holder will support and challenge our multi-professional clinical teams to strive for excellence using QI methodology to capture their achievements and learn from when it does not go to plan
