Job summary

Cygnet is seeking support workers to join the Ranaich House team in Dunblane. You will assist adults with learning disabilities, complex needs or mental health in a residential setting as part of the NHS partnership.

We offer full-time hours (42 hours), day and night shifts, two weekends per month, and a supportive team. Benefits include paid training, 28 days’ leave, free meals, on-site parking, PVG, pension, and more.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and caring approach are essential.
• Strong communication skills are required for coordinating with residents and colleagues.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a residential care setting.
• Experience in a similar care environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily activities and independence.
• Monitor residents and report concerns to senior staff.
• Assist residents during outings to parks, restaurants and community events.
• Complete records to monitor health and wellbeing.
• Promote resident independence and dignity.

Ranaich Houseis a 14-bed specialist residential service supporting adults over the age of 18 with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Physical Needs located inDunblane FK15 0DR.

About the Role:

• Working both day shift (07:45 am to 08:00 pm) and night shift (07: 45 pm to 08:00 am)
• Full-Time (42 Hours)
• Contract Available
• Working two weekends a month
• Helping to promote resident independence
• Supporting residents in all aspects of day-to-day life, encouraging and promoting independence
• Monitoring of residents and reporting concerns to senior team members or managers
• Going out with residents into the local community to attend events, parks, restaurants and local activities
• Completing residents records to help monitor health and overall well-being
