Are you an experienced Communications and Public Affairs professional who knows how to manage reputation, engage stakeholders and deliver impactful communications in a complex environment?
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering corporate communications, supporting both internal and external audiences while championing a strong and consistent organisational brand.
You will help develop and deliver the corporate communications strategy across the full marketing mix, producing clear, accessible and engaging communications that support organisational priorities. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, officers and political representatives, helping to manage reputation and deliver effective communications when it matters most.
Proven experience in marketing, communications and public relations, including project management.
Strong experience building relationships across local government, working effectively with both officers and political stakeholders.
Excellent monitoring, analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to turn information into meaningful insight.
Experience managing crisis communications, working with stakeholders to achieve objectives and protect organisational reputation.
Confident preparing and delivering reports and presentations to a range of audiences.
Experience working successfully within a complex, challenging and politically sensitive environment.
A strong understanding of accessibility and the importance of communicating effectively with diverse audiences.
