Job summary

The Job People are recruiting a Night Machine Operator for a busy Melting Department on a permanent night shift. You will charge furnaces, monitor molten metal, take samples and ensure safety, with full training and support.

We offer a permanent night shift with a 5:30pm to 5:30am pattern, overtime opportunities, and secure employment with a long-established manufacturing business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator in manufacturing, foundry, engineering, recycling, or heavy industry.
• Experience operating machinery within a production environment.
• Overhead crane experience would be advantageous.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Permanent night shift.
• Shift pattern of 5:30pm to 5:30am.
• Overtime opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator or someone with a manufacturing background looking to develop their skills within a well-established engineering business.
