Job summary

GI Group Main Account in Doncaster is seeking a hands-on General Operative for a warehouse team. The role involves moving and handling large cables, with a rotating shift pattern to cover early and late slots. You will join a new team from day one and contribute to daily operational targets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role (heavy/bulky items beneficial).
• Confidence with manual handling and physical work throughout the shift.
• FLT Counterbalance licence preferred (but not essential).
• Reliability and punctuality to work the rotating shifts consistently.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.

General Operative - Key Responsibilities

As a

General Operative, you will be working in a warehouse environment moving and handling

large cables. The

General Operative role will include:

• Moving, lifting and positioning

large cables safely and efficiently.

• Supporting general warehouse duties such as picking, staging, wrapping and stock movement.
• Using an FLT Counterbalance when required (licence preferred).
