Skills 4 Pharmacy is offering a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship, combining on‑the‑job training with off‑the‑job learning. You will be supported to develop practical laboratory skills while contributing to daily testing and sample preparation.
No previous laboratory experience is required; full training and support are provided to help you build a career in science. Earn while you learn in a structured apprenticeship program.
As a Laboratory Technician Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day work of the laboratory, assisting with testing, preparing samples and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will be trained and supported throughout the apprenticeship.
Assisting with laboratory tests and experiments under supervision
Preparing samples, materials and equipment for testing
Accurately recording results and maintaining laboratory records
Cleaning, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment
Following health & safety procedures and quality standards

Laboratory Technician Level 3
Because of the technical experience you will gain from working in a laboratory, you will gain skills which many graduates have yet to develop. If you have practical ability, ability to solve problems and good communication skills there are opportunities for progression towards higher qualifications.
