Job summary

Personnel Solutions (Midlands) Limited is seeking an experienced HGV driver for night trunking duties in Crick and surrounding area. You will complete 1-2 trunks per day to stores with returns from suppliers, with vehicle security enforced and access only for staff at destination.

Start times are 21:00–03:00 with shifts typically 10–11 hours and a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours. Immediate start leading to long‑term work or temp to perm after an assessment.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV1 license with Digi and CPC card for at least 6 months.
• Night driving role with security procedures for palletized cargo.
• Ability to work overnight and handle long shifts (10–11 hours).

Responsibilities

• Drive 1–2 trunks per day to stores with return from supplier.
• Ensure vehicle is padlocked and access is controlled by store staff at destination.
• Start times between 21:00 and 03:00; shifts typically 10–11 hours.
• Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per shift.
• Immediate start with potential long-term or temp-to-perm role after assessment.

Job description

Duties will include 1-2 Trunks per day to stores with a possible collection on return from a supplier. This is purely a driving role as the vehicle is security padlocked and only opened by store staff when arriving at the destination.

Start times between 21:00 - 03:00 Shifts typically 10-11 hours.

Guaranteed Minimum of 8 hours

Pay Rates:

Saturday - £22.41 per hour

Sunday - £24.65 per hour

ASSESSMENT REQUIRED .

You must hold a valid HGV1 license along with a Digi and CPC card for at least 6 months.

This is an immediate start position leading to long term work or a Temp to perm role for the right candidate, once you have completed an assessment.
