Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Survival Equipment Supervisor to oversee maintenance of survival and aircrew equipment at RAF Valley, Holyhead. You will lead a skilled aviation engineering team, ensuring safety, airworthiness and compliance while developing your technical leadership.

The role is full-time, on-site at RAF Valley, with responsibilities spanning diagnostics, repairs, testing and documentation in a regulated environment, supporting national capability and mission readiness.

Qualifications

  • Experience working on survival equipment or comparable aircraft systems.
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work safely and to defined technical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance on survival and aircrew equipment assemblies.
  • Carry out fault resolution, repairs, modifications and component replacements.
  • Perform functional testing to verify compliance with requirements.
  • Ensure work follows approved technical documentation and procedures.
  • Conduct inspections and configuration management activities.
