Job summary

Survitec Group Ltd in Southampton is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. You will inspect, service and maintain lifejackets, liferafts and immersion suits to high safety standards, with full training provided.

This hands-on role supports warehouse activities and requires driving between sites. You will gain experience across a range of life-saving equipment while contributing to quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical, workshop or engineering environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow processes, procedures and technical instructions.
• A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.
• A positive team player with a proactive attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, servicing and maintaining lifejackets, liferafts, immersion suit and associated safety equipment in line with Survitec procedures and quality standards.
• Following detailed work instructions and ensuring all work is completed accurately.
• Supporting warehouse and stores activities, including handling equipment and stock.
• Driving between customer sites and operational locations when required.
• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality and customer service.
