Job summary

The Selection Partnership Ltd. on behalf of an established plastics manufacturer in the United Kingdom is seeking an Injection Moulding Operator for a full-time, permanent role.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with injection moulding machinery and tooling, and a strong materials handling background. You will operate and monitor Arburg and Boy machines, manage materials, and troubleshoot issues using mechanical knowledge and logic controllers.

Qualifications

• Experience in injection moulding within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with tooling maintenance and assembly procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting machinery issues.
• Ability to work with logic controllers for process adjustments.

Job description

Our client is an established, stable and successful manufacturer of plastics injection mouldings. They are looking to add to their team.

This is a full time, permanent position. You must have experience in injection moulding, raw materials handling, machine setting, tooling and assembly.

Responsibilities

Day shift - 8am - 4pm - 30 minutes lunch break - Monday to Friday.

• Operate and maintain Injection Moulding Machines, (including Arburg & Boy).
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality output.
• Handle materials efficiently and safely.
• assemble and disassemble tooling as needed.
• Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues.
• Work with logic controllers to adjust machine settings.
• Use hand tools to fabricate components.
• Potentially 7am - 3pm if this shift fits better with commuting distance/traffic.
• Potentially 7am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am -12pm Friday if this shift fits better with commuting distance/traffic.

Requirements
