Job summary

eTeach UK Limited is seeking an MDSA (Midday Supervisory Assistant) to join our friendly team at Neston Primary School. The role starts ASAP after safeguarding checks are completed, with focus on safe, engaging lunchtime supervision and positive pupil interactions.

Previous experience is not required; training will be provided. You will support play, uphold behaviour policy, and contribute to a welcoming, well‑run school environment.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; willingness to attend relevant training.
• Safeguarding checks completed or in progress as part of the recruitment process.
• Ability to work as part of a friendly, supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and caring for the children during lunchtimes.
• Interacting with children and ensuring active, purposeful, positive and cooperative play.
• Ensuring children behave in line with the school's policy at all times.
• Responding promptly to health and safety issues.
• Being a positive role model for children and staff.
• Following school safeguarding policies and attending relevant training.
• Working with colleagues to supervise and manage the dining hall.
• Maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and caring for the children during lunchtimes


• Interacting with children and ensuring that they are engaged in active, purposeful, positive and co-operative play


• Ensuring children are behaving appropriately and in line with the school's behaviour policy at all times - 'Ready, Respectful and Safe'


• Being aware of and responding to Health & Safety issues promptly


• Being a strong, positive role model for the children and other staff


• Following the school's policy and procedures on child protection and Safeguarding and attending any relevant training


• Working with colleagues to supervise and clear the dining hall


• Maintaining confidentiality at all times

Previous experience is not necessary, but you must be willing and able to attend relevant training
