Job summary

Pure Staff Ltd in Coleshill is seeking a Soil Laboratory Technician to join our client in the insurance sector. You'll assist with preparation, testing and handling of soil samples, following company procedures and maintaining accurate records.

The role offers full training, a Monday–Friday day shift 08:00–16:00, weekly pay, and a Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate. A reliable, detail-oriented team player with good organisational skills will fit in well.

Qualifications

Soil Laboratory Technicians to join our client based in Coleshill. Our client operates within the insurance sector and is looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to support their soil testing and laboratory operations.

The successful candidates will assist with the preparation, testing and handling of soil samples, ensuring all work is completed accurately and in line with company procedures.

Your Role

As a Soil Laboratory Technician, your duties will include:

• Receiving, sorting and preparing soil samples for laboratory testing
• Carrying out basic soil testing procedures in accordance with company guidelines
• Preparing samples and materials for analysis
• Recording test results and maintaining accurate records
• Checking samples for identification and ensuring correct labelling
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe laboratory environment
• Following health and safety procedures and laboratory guidelines
• Handling samples carefully to prevent contamination
• Supporting the wider laboratory team with general duties as required

Requirements

• Previous laboratory, testing or technical experience is desirable but not essential
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures

Pay & Shifts

£12.71 per hour

Monday to Friday
