Job summary

The Best Connection Scotland are currently recruiting for a National Client who is in the market for Class 2 driver to load and deliver to homes throughout the Central Belt Area. You will be part of a 2 man team and will have an experienced 2nd man with you.

This role runs Sunday to Saturday, Depot is based in the north Glasgow area with working hours 7am-9am starts to finish (Pd 8hrs min) Ongoing position with full time hours and an excellent rate of pay.

Qualifications

• Class 2 HGV Driving Licence with 6 months min experience
• Continuous driving for at least 3 months
• Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Documented work history
• References
• Excellent Customer service skills - Must have a good level of English

Weekend shifts only available too?

Basic duties will include:

Loading materials onto vehicle

Delivering and unloading to various sites including home delivery

General upkeep of vehicle.

This can be a physically demanding job so candidate must have a good level of fitness.

Requirements:

Class 2 HGV Driving Licence with 6 months min experience

Continuous driving for at least 3 months

Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tacho Card

Documented work history

References

Excellent Customer service skills - Must have a good level of English

Monday to Friday £15.95ph first 8hrs

£23.93ph after 8hrs and Saturday
