Job summary

Co-op Group in London is seeking a Customer Team Leader to run a store shift, lead a small team, and help deliver essential services to the community.

You’ll coach and motivate colleagues on the shop floor and tills, support stock accuracy, merchandising and HR processes, and champion Co‑op membership and community engagement.

This role includes weekend work and flexible hours, with London weighting included in pay.

Job description

Location: 303-311 Caledonian Road Islington, London, N1 1DT

Pay: £15.73 per hour including London allowance

Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: A mix of opening shifts, middle shifts, and closing shifts. At least 2 shifts will be closing and at least 1 will be at the weekend. We're happy to discuss your availability further at interview.

Join us as a Customer Team Leader and take the next step toward managing your own store.

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
