Job summary

Co-op Group in Salisbury is seeking a Customer Team Leader to run a small team in a busy store and deliver essential services to the community. You’ll lead shifts, coach staff, and ensure smooth operations on the shop floor and tills.

The role is permanent part-time (30 hours per week) with regular overtime and varied shifts, including early mornings and late evenings, plus at least one weekend shift. You must be 18+ with a focus on customer service and community engagement.

• Minimum criteria: ability to lead a team on shift.
• Experience in retail or team management is beneficial but not essential.
• Commitment to delivering great customer service and supporting store operations.

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 30 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening 5:45am), afternoons, late evenings (store closing 10pm) including at least 1 weekend shift, to be discussed at interview

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast‑paced Co‑op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
