Job summary

Bupa is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant at our Cirencester care home. You will maintain cleanliness throughout the home, vacuuming, mopping and polishing, while ensuring residents’ bedrooms and communal areas are well-kept.

You will manage daily housekeeping stocks and collaborate with the team to raise issues and maintain a welcoming environment for residents. Join a supportive team where high standards, reliability and a caring attitude are valued.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the home, vacuuming, mopping, polishing and keeping communal areas and residents' bedrooms tidy.
• Manage housekeeping stocks for day-to-day use and raise issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as they arise.
• Create a warm, welcoming environment by ensuring the home is well-presented and comfortable for residents.

You'll help us make health happen by:

• You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff
• Always ensuring our residents are kept happy, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident's bedrooms
• You'll maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you'll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
