Job summary

Modular500 in Chesterfield is seeking a Buyer to own materials, suppliers and information that keep our production moving.

You’ll manage orders, costs, deliveries and stock levels, and ensure accurate data is shared with compliance, logistics, production, commercial, estimating and finance teams. This role goes beyond placing PO’s, involving end-to-end procurement ownership to support manufacturing.

Job description

We’re looking for a Buyer to take ownership of the materials, suppliers and information that keep our production facility moving.

This isn’t simply a role about raising purchase orders and chasing prices.

You’ll know what we’ve ordered, what it’s costing, when it’s arriving, whether it’s right and whether we’ve got enough of it. And, just as importantly, you’ll make sure everyone else who needs to know has that information too.

You’ll be based at our production facility in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, working alongside our compliance, logistics and production teams, with strong links into commercial, estimating and finance.
