Job summary

Springwell Community College in Chesterfield is seeking a friendly, reliable Midday Supervisor to join our dedicated team. You will supervise students in both outdoor and indoor lunch spaces, helping to maintain safety and good behaviour and ensuring areas are kept clean and tidy.

This part-time role runs 7 hours 35 minutes per week, Monday to Friday, across 38 weeks per year, with full training provided. An enhanced DBS check and references are required, as part of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with children is desirable; full training provided.
• Friendly, positive attitude; able to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunchtime in designated outdoor and indoor spaces.
• Ensure spaces are left clean and tidy and maintain acceptable standards of behaviour.

The role:

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our existing team. The role will include supervising students in designated outdoor and indoor lunchtime spaces, ensuring spaces are left clean & tidy and ensuring acceptable standards of behaviour are maintained. This role will work 7hours 35mins Monday to Friday.

The person:

The successful candidate should be friendly with a positive attitude, confident and able to act calm under pressure. Previous experience of working with children is desirable and full training is provided.
