Job summary

Four Anjels Ltd. is seeking a hands-on hygiene team leader in its bakery. This full‑time position involves leading the hygiene team, organising shifts, and modelling best practice in cleaning and sanitation across production areas and offices.

You will train staff on cleaning procedures, chemical safety, and PPE, while ensuring HACCP and health & safety standards are followed. Overtime is available and compensated accordingly.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hygiene teams in a manufacturing or bakery environment.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate cleaning records and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hygiene team day to day and allocate tasks.
• Check work and cleaning records and sign off tasks.
• Train and coach the team on cleaning procedures and PPE use.
• Be the main point of contact for the hygiene team on shift.
• Follow weekly cleaning schedule and keep records updated.

• Maintain cleanliness across all site areas, including production and offices.
• Address audit actions and follow health & safety procedures.

Job description

This is a hands‑on, full-time hygiene team leader role in our bakery. You'll support and lead our hygiene team, organising their work and setting the example on every shift so that our equipment, production areas and facilities are cleaned and sanitised to the highest standards, while still getting stuck in with the cleaning yourself. No weekend work is required, but optional overtime is available when required and paid at time and a half.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead the hygiene team day to day, allocating tasks and making sure the cleaning schedule is completed on time
• Checking work and cleaning records to make sure standards are met and signing off completed tasks
• Training and coaching the team on cleaning procedures, chemical safety and correct use of PPE
• Acting as the main point of contact for the hygiene team on shift and keeping your Line Manager updated
• Following the weekly cleaning schedule and keeping cleaning records accurate and up to date
• Cleaning and sanitising equipment, utensils and work areas, and removing waste as required
• Keeping all areas of the site, including production areas and offices, clean and hygienic
• Completing actions from hygiene audits as directed by the Technical team
• Following HACCP, food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
• Reporting any issues or non-conformances to your Line Manager
• Supporting the bakery team in other areas when required
