Brewers Decorator Centres in Chelmsford is seeking a Retail Sales Advisor with Driver Duties to provide excellent service at our Brewers Chelmsford store and manage local deliveries. You will be part of a friendly team, ensuring smooth branch operation and customer satisfaction.

You will drive the company Transit van, help customers in-store with paint, wallpaper and fabrics, and learn product knowledge to make confident recommendations. Training is provided, with pension and benefits included.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Make contactless deliveries to customers in and around the local area driving our Company Transit van.
• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch and deliver upon Brewers service reputation.
• Use product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs.
• Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request stock within the branch network.
• Develop sales of the product range including wallpaper, paint and fabric.
• Build relationships with customers to identify needs and provide a comprehensive service.
• Promote seasonal and special items and merchandise goods in-store to increase visibility and sales.
• Assist with stock maintenance in the branch.
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.

You will play a vital part in helping serve customers and keeping the branch running smoothly - experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.Conveniently located on Dukes Park Industrial Estate, our Chelmsford branch has been successfully serving the local community for over 30 years, providing a vast array of decorating materials to our trade and retail customers. In addition to a wide selection of trade and designer paints, our showroom had over 200 wallpaper pattern books for our customers to peruse when planning their design projects. We really do have everything our customers need for their DIY or decorating projects. Our friendly team have a wealth of industry knowledge between them so if you are looking to expand your skills, you will be in the best place to do it. Who we are looking for to join our team:

• Familiar with the surrounding area
• Full clean manual driving licence
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations
• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can always be relied upon to work as an individual
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right candidate
