Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centres in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a friendly Driver with Retail Sales Advisor duties. You will deliver to customers, assist in-store, and promote a wide range of decorating products.

No prior product knowledge is required, as full training is provided, and there is a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork. The role offers a competitive salary of £22,508 per year plus pension and benefits, with 32 hours across four days and branch hours from early morning.

• Familiar with Stoke on Trent and the surrounding area.
• Full clean manual driving licence.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations.
• Approachable, with an open and friendly personality, happy to help customers and colleagues.
• Enjoys working in a team but can be relied upon to work independently.
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within the industry.
• Retail experience or product knowledge is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Make contactless deliveries to customers in and around the Stoke on Trent area driving our Company Transit van.
• Provide exceptional service in branch to deliver on Brewers service reputation.
• Use product knowledge to offer recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs.
• Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request stock within the Branch network.
• Develop sales of wallpaper, paint and fabric.
• Build relationships with customers to identify needs and provide a comprehensive service.
• Promote seasonal and special items, merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales.
• Assist with stock maintenance in the branch.
• Unload deliveries and distribute stock throughout the store.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and friendly Driver with Retail Sales Advisor Duties to join the team at our Stoke on Trent Brewers Decorator Centre. You will play a vital part in helping serve customers and keeping the branch running smoothly - experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and teamwork skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.

Conveniently located on Victoria Road, Fenton, our Stoke on Trent Decorator Centre has been supplying the local community with decorating supplies for over 20 years. In store we carry a vast range of trade and designer paints, wallpaper pattern books and all the tools and accessories our customers need to complete their decorating projects. Our friendly and knowledgeable team have been sharing their expert advice and making recommendations to both trade and retail customers for many years - it is part of our commitment to outstanding customer service. Branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.

Key Responsibilities
