Job summary

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Loading Shovel Driver to join our client's busy waste recycling facility in Caythorpe. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced operator looking for ongoing, full-time work with a well-established recycling operation.

You will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the site, supporting shredding and screening operations and ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently around the yard.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a loading shovel.
• Ability to move materials around a yard safely and efficiently.
• Willingness to perform daily pre-start checks.
• Commitment to site health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a Loading Shovel.
• Feed green waste materials into shredders.
• Support screening operations and maintain a consistent flow of materials.
• Move, load and stockpile materials around the site.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and basic machine inspections.
• Identify and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Assist with general site duties when required.
