Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting a conveyancing paralegal for a well-respected Cardiff law firm’s commercial property team. Hybrid working offered, with salary £27,000–£28,000 and a Monday-to-Friday 9am–5pm schedule.

The role includes training and career development within a supportive environment. The successful candidate will handle commercial conveyancing tasks, use a case management system, and possess LPC/LLB or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience as a paralegal.

Qualifications

• Conveyancing knowledge and experience required.
• Experience with commercial conveyancing beneficial.
• LPC/LLB or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as conveyancing paralegal or assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clear and precise communications with firm personnel.
• Maintain good working relationships with external institutions.
• Deliver high standards of client care in a professional manner.
• Deputise for the primary fee-earner in their absence.
• Type letters, documents and file notes.
• Open and close conveyancing files; manage file documentation.
• Complete and submit SLDT forms; daily use of land registry portal.

£27,000 to £28,000 per annum, Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm, Hybrid working, Permanent,

An outstanding opportunity has arisen within a well respected, established law firm who are focused on delivering the highest quality of services are actively looking for a conveyancing paralegal to join their commercial property team. Offering support, training and further future opportunities, this would see you working with a team of 8 carrying out duties such as :

Maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel within the firm.

Ensuring good working relationships with external institutions and organisations.

To Exercise high standards of Client care in a professional and pleasant manner.

Maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel within the firm.

Deputise for primary fee-eaner in their absence, passing urgent issues to senior fee-eaners for guidance.

Typing of letters / documents and file notes.

Experienced within opening and closing files.

Completing and submitting SLDT forms

Daily use of the land registry portal

The successful conveyancing paralegal will have a need to hold current knowledge within conveyancing. This role would focus on commercial files so commercial conveyancing experience would be beneficial. you will also have a need to hold experience using a case management system, hold an LPC / LLB or equivalent qualification or additionally hold experience working as a conveyancing paralegal, conveyancing assistant or paralegal
