Job&Talent are recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operative in Ratling Rd, Aylesham. We are looking for hard working individuals to join our team as core members to support our client's ramp up for new business opportunities.

Role of a Warehouse Operative includes receiving, picking, assembling and loading customer orders with accuracy and speed, maintaining a clean and safe depot, and following manual handling and equipment safety rules. Flexible rotating shifts with night hours are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a rapidly changing, fast past-paced environment.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
• A 'can do', right first time and passionate approach.
• Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern (Safety Shoes, Hi-Vis).

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, pick, assemble and load customer orders within depot accuracy and speed targets.
• Contribute towards a clean and safe working environment, ensuring health and safety of self and colleagues.
• Handle customer stock with care to minimize damages and maximize service.
• Adhere to instructions regarding manual handling and safe operation of equipment.
• Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles and stacking stock for transit.
• Commitment and reliability to attend shifts at short notice.

As a

Warehouse Operative

you will need to have:

Salary :

Starting at £12.71 basic rate per hour night shift - Rate - £13.73 / hourly

Our client offers training suitable for all candidates regardless of previous experience

We are currently looking for positions available for a minimum 5 days a week.

Location : Ratling Rd, Aylesham

Hours of work: 14:30- 22:30

Role of a Warehouse Operative:

• Accurately receive, pick, assemble and load customer orders within depot accuracy and speed targets,
• Contribute towards a clean and safe working environment, demonstrating concern to ensure that personal actions do not compromise the health and safety of self and/or colleagues at all times
• Handle customer stock with care and consideration to minimize damages and maximize customer service
• Adhere to instructions and guidelines regarding manual handling, the use of Mechanical Handling equipment, including pre-operational checks, reporting of defects, and the safe use and operation of all equipment.
• Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, stacking stock onto and off pallets in a safe and stable manner ready for transit.
• Please Note: This role requires commitment and is suitable for candidates who are reliable and able to attend shifts at short notice.
