Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver for a full-time, ongoing trunking role based in Caistor. You will run night trunks to Birmingham, swap trailers, and bring back a loaded trailer to Caistor.

Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 licence and CPC card, plus a digital tachograph card, with a solid understanding of drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive regulations. Reliability and safety consciousness are essential.

Responsibilities

HGV Class 1 Night Trunking (Drop and Swap)

We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver for a full-time, ongoing Monday to Friday trunking operation.

The Role

:

This is a straightforward trunking and trailer swap position involving:

Night trunk from Caistor, Lincolnshire to Birmingham

. Swap trailers at the Birmingham depot.

Ensure the return trailer is loaded. Return to Caistor with the loaded trailer

. Complete all relevant vehicle checks and transport documentation.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence

Valid CPC Qualification Card

Digital Tachograph Card

Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred

Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations
