Job summary

Ethero Ltd. invites applications for a FLT Counterbalance/Multi Skilled Production Operative at our Burton upon Trent site. You will operate and maintain manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently, with priority on quality and asset care.

You'll work across shifts (AM/PM/Nights) with pay rates £12.71, £14.58, £15.42 per hour, respectively. The role requires good communication, teamwork and the ability to work to deadlines. Own transport is preferred.

Qualifications

• General operative with drive and enthusiasm to work on shift team.
• Must be able to work on own initiative and meet deadlines.
• Evidence of right to work in the UK will be requested.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.

• Be responsible for the manufacturing assets.

Job description

FLT Counterbalance/Multi Skilled Production Operative

• Operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently


• Operating a forklift - valid Certificate preferably


• Controlling the quality of product


• Responsible for the manufacturing assets


• Liaising with maintenance and assisting where needed


• You will inspect, carry out and ensure that plant routines are regularly adhered to and that the cleanliness of the plant mechanism, plant area, adjacent buildings, and equipment are at all times properly and regularly inspected, cleaned in accordance with site instructions.

Pay rate: AM £12.71 per hour/ PM £14.58 per hour /Nights £15.42 per hour

Any lawful deductions will be explained clearly before engagement. Statutory deductions such as Tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions (where applicable) will apply.

Morning shift

Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:15

Afternoon shift

Monday to Friday 14:00 - 22:15

Night Shift

Sunday to Thursday 22:00 - 06:15

Candidate Requirements:

• Highly motivated General Operative with drive and enthusiasm to work as part of the Shift team


• Excellent communication and team working skills


• Good organisational skills


• Able to work on your own initiative


• Ability to work to deadlines and problem solve


• Own transport required
