Job summary

hap Flexi is recruiting Event Stewards to work at Burnley FC’s Turf Moor stadium in Burnley, Lancashire. You’ll be part of the matchday team, helping fans have a safe and enjoyable experience. Shifts are available on match days and at other events at the stadium.

Duties include checking tickets, directing spectators, monitoring designated areas and assisting with crowd management. Applicants must be 18 or over, no prior stewarding experience is required, and successful applicants will complete

Qualifications

• No prior stewarding experience required.
• Must be reliable and professional with a positive attitude.
• Must have spoken English capable of communicating with the public and team members.
• Must complete ACT Awareness training before shifts.

What you’ll be doing

Your role will be to help create a safe, secure and welcoming environment for supporters and visitors. Duties may include checking tickets, directing spectators, monitoring designated areas, helping with crowd management and providing excellent customer service.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need any previous stewarding experience. We’re looking for reliable, professional people with a positive attitude who are happy to complete the required training. You’ll also need spoken English good enough to talk with the public, colleagues and management, and to follow health and safety briefings.

Good to know

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Location: Turf Moor, Harry Potts Way, Burnley, BB10 4BX

You’ll need to make your own way to the stadium

Uniform: black trousers, polished black leather shoes, smart white shirt and black tie

Requirements

Applicants must be 18 or over. Before working stewarding shifts, successful applicants will need to complete ACT (Action Counters Terrorism) Awareness training, which we can provide.
