Job summary

Carbon60 is recruiting for a Supply Officer based at Broughton to manage a portfolio of suppliers across Airbus Wing Programmes in a dynamic, digital environment. The role requires driving supplier performance, coordinating demand/forecast, and maintaining MRP Master Data while collaborating with operations and procurement teams.

The position offers hybrid working between home and office and opportunities to support Supply Chain and Logistics Transformation projects, with international supplier

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, procurement or related manufacturing roles.
• Experience with digital solutions/tools and data-driven decision making.
• Experience of transnational collaboration and stakeholder management.
• MRP and SAP in a manufacturing environment are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of the supplier portfolio using existing tools and future digitalization.
• Anticipation of risks and drive mitigation actions.
• Demand and forecast control.
• Communicate effectively with internal customers, team colleagues and external suppliers.
• Own and optimise procured goods stock and end-to-end supply chain.
• Interact with suppliers regionally and travel as needed, supporting transformation projects.

An exciting opportunity has opened within the Supply Chain operations organisation for the position of Supply Officer based at Broughton. This is a perfect opportunity to work on a dynamic network between Broughton Plant, the Final Assembly Lines, and the Procurement world.

The successful candidate will drive supplier performance across the end-to-end supply chain in a fastmoving, digital environment.

This role manages a portfolio of suppliers in support of all Airbus Wing Programmes. Airbus has a global supply chain.

Responsibilities:

• Daily management of the supplier portfolio using existing business tools and future digitalization means.
• Anticipation of risks and drive mitigation actions.
• Demand and forecast control.
• Communicate effectively to internal customers, team colleagues and external suppliers.
• Supply chain prioritisation.
• Challenge Supplier performance where appropriate.
• Understand and define the optimal ordering characteristics and strategy.
• Specify and use of process automation.
• Use data management tools to drive decisions in the supply chain.
• Order Book Management and maintaining MRP Master Data.
• Interact transnationally with suppliers (remotely and/or at suppliers) and proactively operate in a procurement community as partner to the Supply Chain Quality Manager and Commercial Buyer
• Be the 1st point of contact for supply chain queries from operations.
• Own and Optimise Procured Goods Stock.
• Create the future: Support Supply chain and Logistics Transformation projects

Skills and Experience:

Solid experience ideally in one of the following areas:

• Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering.
• Experience in the use and deployment of Digital solutions/tools.
• Experience of transnational working.
• MRP expertise and experience of SAP in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in problem solving.
• Good team work ethic.
