Shooting Stars Bromsgrove is seeking an Early Years Room Leader (Level 3 childcare) to lead our Pre-Toddler Room. You will coach and develop practitioners, ensuring high-quality childcare and education in a supportive nursery setting.

You will manage day-to-day room operations, maintain safeguarding standards, and drive improvement while leading a team of dedicated staff in a nurturing environment.

Qualificações

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
• Experience as Room Leader or senior practitioner is essential.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Room Leader, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Pre-Toddler Room.
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children thrive.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of practitioners, apprentices and students.
• Act as a Key Person and build strong, positive relationships with families.
• Plan and oversee engaging activities in line with the EYFS.
• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Promote inclusive practice and support children with additional needs.
• Maintain outstanding safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare standards.
• Drive quality improvement and support nursery inspection readiness.

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• Experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, Third in Charge or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
