Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative in Bromley to maintain outdoor spaces across housing sites. You will mow lawns, trim hedges, weed beds and pathways and keep areas clean and presentable while safely operating groundskeeping equipment.

The role is full-time, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, based in Bromley BR1, with emphasis on health and safety and reliable site access.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license.
• Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery and hand tools safely.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, edging, and maintaining lawns to keep them neat and healthy.
• Trimming and shaping hedges, shrubs and bushes to promote growth and improve appearance.
• Removing weeds from flower beds, pathways and other landscaped areas.
• Planting flowers, shrubs, trees and preparing soil and beds.
• Clearing debris, litter picking, sweeping pathways and maintaining outdoor cleanliness.
• Safely operating machinery such as mowers, strimmers and leaf blowers; maintaining tools.

Job description

Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative based in Bromley to ensure that outdoor spaces across numerous housing sites are well-maintained and well-presented. You will be responsible for a variety of landscaping tasks, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges and shrubs, weeding flower beds and pathways and performing general upkeep such as clearing debris. You will operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently, following all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping, be physically fit, able to work in all weather conditions and possess a keen eye for detail.

You will be joining our Soft FM team based in Bromley, Our Soft FM team is responsible for a wide range grounds maintenance services across the Bromley and Kent area.

This is a full time permanent position, working 7AM-3:30PM Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating machinery such as mowers, strimmer and leaf blowers, along with maintaining tools and equipment.
• Driving company vehicles to transport equipment and access multiple sites as required.
• Following all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Performing seasonal duties like leaf clearing, frost protection, or preparing sites for different weather conditions.

Key Requirements

• Valid driving license
• Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Understanding of and compliance with health and safety regulations relevant to grounds maintenance.
