Partou Bluebells Day Nursery & Pre-school in Preston is seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualified nursery practitioner to join as a Lunchtime Cover Assistant. The role is 15 hours per week, part-time, providing lunch coverage while maintaining a stimulating EYFS-focused environment for children.

You will support learning and development, ensure safety and inclusivity, and collaborate closely with families and the nursery team.

Qualifications

• EYFS knowledge required.
• Experience in early years settings preferred.
• Flexible support for lunchtime cover and team tasks.

About the Role

Partou Bluebells Day Nursery & Pre-schoolis seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualified nursery practitioner to take on the flexible 15hours per weekrole of Lunchtime Cover Assistant. You will work towardsensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS. You will provide exceptional care and compassion towards the children, maintain asafe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families. You'll play a key role in supporting our nursery team, stepping in to provide cover while our staff enjoy their well-deserved lunch break. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the bustling energy of a nursery setting and thrives in a supportive role.
