Job summary

ENABLE Scotland seeks a motivated Team Facilitator to join our frontline management team in Edinburgh & West Lothian. You will work with the Service Manager to lead and support a team of Personal Assistants delivering safe, person-centred support.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, and you will be involved in rosters, safeguarding, and collaboration with families and health professionals across our services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and supervise Personal Assistants and assist with induction.
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred support and safe service delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain staff rotas and keep records in GDPR-compliant systems.
  • Build strong relationships with families, health professionals and external agencies.
  • Participate in on-call duties and travel across Edinburgh & West Lothian as required.

As Team Facilitator in our Edinburgh & West Lothian, you will work closely with the Service Manager to lead and support a team of Personal Assistants to deliver safe, effective and person-centred support.

What You’ll Do
Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead, motivate and support a team of Personal Assistants.
  • Conduct regular supervisions, observations and performance reviews.
  • Assist with the induction of new staff.
  • Support attendance, absence and staff wellbeing.
  • Promote positive communication and effective team working.
Service Delivery
  • Ensure people we support receive high-quality, person-centred support.
  • Support staff to promote choice, independence, dignity and inclusion.
  • Participate in assessments, support planning, reviews and risk assessments.
  • Carry out quality assurance checks, including spot checks and feedback.
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns and escalates issues appropriately.
  • Provide direct support and shift cover where required.
Rostering and Administration
  • Prepare and maintain staff rotas to ensure safe and effective staffing.
  • Keep accurate records using electronic systems.
  • Maintain confidential records in line with GDPR requirements.
Partnership Working
  • Build strong relationships with families, health professionals and external agencies.
  • Attend meetings and reviews with the people we support and key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the Service Manager to continuously improve services.
On-Call and Flexibility
  • Participate in the on-call rot which can include evenings and weekends.
  • Travel to services across Edinburgh & West Lothian as required.
