Job summary

We are excited to invite applications for the position of Family Safeguarding and Attendance Officer to join our outstanding team of professionals.

About the Role

As a Family Safeguarding and Attendance Officer, you will provide high-quality support to identified pupils and families, working in collaboration with the SENDCo and Senior Leaders. You will take a lead role in providing high quality and effective safeguarding and pastoral support across the school, maintaining accurate records and working with colleagues, pupils, parents and external agencies to ensure appropriate plans and strategies are in place to support pupils and their families. You will provide a positive image of the school in all dealings with parents, visitors and outside agencies.

You will promote a positive attendance culture and intervene early with families to ensure pupil's attendance does not decline. You will be solution focused and forge strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
